Featured Post

This week's featured post comes from Prue at Modern Nomads with Kids. Prue shares an article written by Gary Tippet from the Melbourne Age about her father, Terry Keating, an ex-Police officer. Gary talks about Terry's journey with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It is a beautifully written article which gives insight into the extreme challenges of Policing and the all too common impact of Post Traumatic Stress.

  5. Space out snacks in between meals to help you get through to your next meal without feeling starved (which always leads to overeating). Avoid snacking on liquids, like a glass of juice or a shake, as this is often not filling enough. Thanks.

  6. Focusing more on lifestyle issues and their relationships with functional health, data from the Alameda County Study suggested that people can improve their health via exercise, enough sleep, maintaining a healthy body weight, limiting alcohol use, and avoiding smoking. Thanks.
