My go to recipe is pasta usually in a pasta bake or just with mince and sauce. The kids always eat it and it is quick and easy. Donna Hay always has awesome recipes. Lots of her recipes are my go to recipes when I am feeling like making things a bit more special but still quick and easy.

My recipe would have to be banana bread, particularly if I have a party to go to. It's so easy and I know all the ingredients off by heart. And seriously who doesn't like banana bread with 3/4 of a cup of packed brown sugar in it! Yum!

Tuna Casserole... bit of tuna, bit of rice, melted cheese on top and you're done! Perfect for fussy eaters! Either that or ham, cheese and pineapple open melts

My go to recipe would have to be a pasta dish. It's usually just a sauce made with what ever I have in the fridge or pantry that needs to be used. Often it's zucchini, mushroom and bacon.

It's called Pie Filling Pasta, because the meat sauce originally started out as an experimental pie filling. Then one day we tried it on pasta, and yum! :P You just fry onion, garlic and grated carrot (much quicker than cutting it finely), add pork mince, then a dash of whatever wine you have, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, a stock cube and some water and cornflour to thicken. If you have family members who are more amenable to vegetables than mine, you can also add finely chopped capsicum, mushrooms etc when you're frying off the other vegies.

My favourite fast food made at home is Pita Pizzas. We use store-bought wholemeal pita breads, then top them with passata sauce, chopped-up leftover meats that are in the fridge (eg. roasts, meatballs, sausages, hams), sliced vegies, olives, Mediterranean spices, and cheese (either feta or mozarella). Ten minutes in the grill and they're done! Everyone loves them and can tailor them to their own tastes!
